• The Opel Collective Scholarship is offered in 2026, 2027 and 2028 to domestic students enrolled part-time in either the Graduate Certificate in Positive Behaviour Support or Graduate Certificate in Complex Communication Needs at Curtin University.

  • The Opel Collective Scholarship supports dedicated practitioners to deepen their knowledge and skills in positive behaviour support within the disability sector.

  • Established by Susan Peden, Managing Director of Opel Collective and a leader with over 30 years’ experience in the disability and human services industry, the Scholarship reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening the local WA disability workforce.

  • By supporting individuals to lead the development of systems that prioritise inclusion and well-being, this scholarship encourages lasting sector-wide impact.

  • With a focus on practical application and system-level change, recipients will be empowered to drive meaningful progress across a rapidly evolving landscape.

  • The Scholarship is open to domestic students (Australian or New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa holder)

  • Applications for the Opel Collective Scholarship for 2027 are now open. Applications close on 23 November 2026.
