The Opel Collective Scholarship is offered in 2026, 2027 and 2028 to domestic students enrolled part-time in either the Graduate Certificate in Positive Behaviour Support or Graduate Certificate in Complex Communication Needs at Curtin University.

The Opel Collective Scholarship supports dedicated practitioners to deepen their knowledge and skills in positive behaviour support within the disability sector.

Established by Susan Peden, Managing Director of Opel Collective and a leader with over 30 years’ experience in the disability and human services industry, the Scholarship reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening the local WA disability workforce.

By supporting individuals to lead the development of systems that prioritise inclusion and well-being, this scholarship encourages lasting sector-wide impact.

With a focus on practical application and system-level change, recipients will be empowered to drive meaningful progress across a rapidly evolving landscape.

The Scholarship is open to domestic students (Australian or New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa holder)

Applications for the Opel Collective Scholarship for 2027 are now open. Applications close on 23 November 2026.
